1940 PACKARD SUPER 8

Nowadays, it’s hard to get proper maintenance and repairs for antique cars — either the shop nearby doesn’t have experienced technicians or there’s no YouTube videos to teach you how.

Not all shops can provide maintenance items for a 1940 Packard Super 8; Black Wolf can.

This Packard Super 8 left Black Wolf properly maintained to the highest standard.

Here’s what we did:

  • Rebuilt brake master cylinder
  • Tire rotation
  • Replaced brake shoes and assessed wheel cylinders for rebuild/replacement
  • Flushed brake system & filled master cylinder
  • Diagnosed & repaired leak at rear brake drums
  • Tightened/readjusted rear brake shoes
  • Removed driveshaft & rear differential pinion seal
  • Replaced fuel filter
  • Replaced spark plugs
  • Replaced upper & lower control arms
  • Replaced front upper wheel support bushings
