This 1973 Nissan 240Z came to Black Wolf after being in storage for two years. The transmission would pop out of fifth gear, the fuel gauge was not accurate, and the horn pad fell off randomly.
When it left Black Wolf, the 240Z was running better than ever.
Here’s how we restored it:
- Drained fuel & flushed fuel line
- Checked fluids
- Charged battery
- Replaced fuel sending unit
- Replaced front brake calipers, pads, & hoses
- Replaced rear brake system
- Installed front strut inserts
- Installed set screws in base of steering column
- Disassembled & assessed steering shaft
- Reassembled & reinstalled steering shaft
- Replaced transmission
- Swapped new bell housing with original bell housing
- Aligned steering wheel
- Fabricated bracket for choke lever
- Replaced passenger side door handle
