This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro R/S came to Black Wolf for some mechanical safety & reliability concerns, including overheating & inability to turn off power.
Later, the customer also wanted some cosmetic modifications
The Camaro left Black Wolf safe, stylish, and reliable.
Here’s how we did it:
- Relocated exhaust hanger
- Replaced & balanced rear tires
- Organized wiring under the dash & in the trunk
- Install new battery terminals
- Remove aftermarket radio & install new radio
- Oil change
- Replaced differential fluid
- Replaced inner and outer differential pinion bearings & pinion seal
- Replaced brake fluid
- Replaced power steering fluid
- Replaced transmission fluid
- Replaced window seals
- Trunk restoration
- Cut out trunk floor pan
- Grind away rust
- Cut out rear frame and weld in rail braces
- Weld in new trunk floor pan
- Apply Marhyde – rust conversion
- Repaint trunk
- Reroute wiring
- Modify fuel tank straps
- Install battery hold down
- Replaced transmission fluid
- Replaced window seals
- Trunk restoration
- Cut out trunk floor pan
- Grind away rust
- Cut out rear frame and weld in rail braces
- Weld in new trunk floor pan
- Apply Marhyde – rust conversion
- Repaint trunk
- Reroute wiring
- Modify fuel tank straps
- Install battery hold down
- Relocate shocks
- Remove exhaust from mufflers back to access shock relocation mount points
- Fabricate & weld in new leaf spring retention studs
- Swap lower shock mounts; use straighter mounting points
- Tighten upper shock mounts
- Adjust track bars to square up rear end
- Reinstall exhaust
- Replace front upper & lower control arms
- Perform wheel alignment
- Replace rear brake line
- Install sound proofing in the interior
- Install interior carpet
- Install trunk carpet
- Repaint dash
- Reinstall floor pan
- Disassemble underside of vehicle
- Replace frame rails
- Replace inner rocker panels
- Repair both rear rocker/wheel well sections
- Replace engine
- Paint underside
