This 1951 Chevrolet 3100 came to Black Wolf with lots of wear from age, along with some electrical and accessibility issues that made it difficult to drive.
The Chevrolet 3100 left our shop starting and running smoothly with increased accessibility, making it a joy to drive.
Here’s how Black Wolf restored it:
- Replaced the battery, power, and ground cable
- Repaired the turn signal wiring
- Repaired the under-dash wiring
- Replaced the inner and outer wheel bearings & wheel seals
- Replaced the brake shoes & brake hardware
- Replaced the brake hoses
- Replaced the master cylinder with dual chamber master cylinder
- Tested & reinstalled radiator
- Installed a new radiator cap and coolant hose
- Replaced the valve cover gasket
- Replaced spark plugs
- Performed an Oil change
- Rebuilt & tuned the carburetor
- Replaced aged & broken oil filter feed hose
- Replaced rubber fuel pump feed hoses
- Fabricated new fuel lines to the carburetor
- Rebuilt the steering box
- Performed alignment
- Installed a new exhaust system
- Replaced deteriorated horn wiring
- Shortened the brake pedal shaft
